Rod Rodriguez
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Herminio “Rod” Rodriguez is the Founder and CEO of Tacticians For Innovation (TACFI) Consulting LLC, located in Dayton, Ohio. TACFI specializes in innovative training, project management, and operational support for government agencies. With over 20 years in the U.S. military, including leadership roles in Special Operations Forces and elite conventional units, Rod brings exceptional expertise to his work at TACFI.
Starting his career in 2000, Rod was inspired to continue serving after the September 11 attacks on New York City. He has 60 months of combat deployments. He served as a Targeting Officer for the 75th Ranger Regiment and a Master Instructor Trainer at the U.S. Army Ranger School. His collaboration with the Air Force Research Lab to develop synthetic training environments has enhanced mission readiness and operational precision.
Rod has received four Bronze Stars, the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, and the Ranger Tab. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in management.
Rod is committed to mentoring veterans during their transition to civilian life, focusing on mental health and wellness. His emphasis on collaboration and innovative problem-solving positions TACFI as a valuable partner for government agencies seeking transformative solutions.
